Blackpool and The Fylde College – Apprenticeships TV Advert
The basic brief we received from Blackpool College was to produce a fast-paced and breezy TV commercial that advertised their apprenticeship course. The challenge therefore was to create a 30 second clip that not only captured the viewer’s attention but also outlined a good deal of information.
The shoot took place at BAE systems headquarters and starred Ruth Badger (naturally) as our apprenticeships spokesperson. We shot the footage in a range of ways (steadicam, tripod, and handheld) and in various BAE locations with a finished edited pace that is quick and to the point. The end result is an advert that fulfilled the client’s wishes: that apprenticeships are seen as exciting and important step-up to the world of work.
